The Fried Bread Ice

Takuma festival begins from next week. I join the youth hostel club. Our club contributes the fried bread ice to the bazaar every year. The fried bread ice is put a bread into an ice cream and fried it. It is a hot product in Takuma festival.

I became the vice-group leader of the bazaar this year, so I prepare every day after school. The bazaar group aims for making 3,600 fried bread ices this year. Therefore we make it every day, and it is very hard. But I make it with my friends, seniors and juniors, so I enjoy it, and I’m glad that I became getting along with juniors.

However I’m sad, because when Takuma festival is over, third years retires. There is it to the retirement of the third years only for one week. I want to make a lot of memories by the retirement of the third years.

I want to work hard to preparation until Takuma festival!! And I want a lot of people to eat the fried bread ice.

Vacation

I will write about speaking class in October 5. Our topic was vacation, so we talked about summer vacation.

Taka went to Amakusa with her friends in August. She had a barbecue and shot off fire works on the beach. I went to Amakusa too, and I stayed overnight there with my club members. She usually did housework during summer vacation.

Hiroaki went to Osaka with his friends in August. He stayed five days there, and he went to Universal Studio, he did the shopping, and walked and ate, so he ate a lot of Kushikatsu. He worked cram school everyday during summer vacation. He taught math and English for junior high school student and high school student.

Hikari went to America with her friends. She went to Los Angeles and Disney Land. She looked like enjoyed. I want to go to America someday.

Everyone enjoyed summer vacation.

BR 2-03: The Flying Carpet

I read the book The Flying Carpet. This book's characters are Biff, Kipper and the boy. This story is about Biff's carpet became the flying carpet, and Biff and Kipper helped the boy. This book is adventure story.

Biff's carpet tore, so she brought the old carpet in the junk shop. After that, she cleaned up the carpet, and Biff and Kipper sat on her carpet. There was the key on the carpet. Suddenly, it began to glow, and the carpet began to fly. And the carpet was frying over a town. Then it stopped at the top of a tower. There was a boy in that room. He is the king, but he was captured in the palace his uncle, and his uncle became the king, instead. His uncle was nasty. Therefore, Biff and Kipper helped the boy, and they brought the boy back his mother. And they caught his uncle, so the country returned peace. Then the key began to glow again, and Biff and Kipper came back to the real world, and their adventure was end.

This book is very interesting to me. And Biff and Kipper’s adventure story was enjoyable.

The City Parade

The city parade took place yesterday. The portable shrine made a hawk in this year. The costume imaged bandit and made it. I was the costume group, so I made the costumes, and we prepared for the city parade until now.

We assembled at the school before am 6:00 that day, so I went out home at am 5:00. I dressed the costume to friends, seniors and junior, so I was busy, and began opening ceremony in a flash. Our turn was last, so slow. At first, we went to the Shirakawa park. And we carried a portable shrine in there, and we left there for downtown. I was glad and move, because we made hard the costumes of about 65 people since August. It was very hard, but I enjoyed make the costume with my friends, my seniors and my juniors. Other club’s costumes were cute!! However my club’s costumes, president and vice president were very cool!!

We held end the parade off with a drinking party that night. The sophomore presided from that party every year in our club. Third years retire when the Takuma festival finish, so there are that third years is in the club few one month. I sad that third years are retire. However this during the one month is very hard for preparation of Takuma festival, so I want to make memories with them.

I walked and tired, but I enjoyed the city parade with my club members. I could make the memory yesterday. I want to take a prize of the costume and the portable shrine this year. And I was glad that I joined the costume group, and I could work with my friends, my seniors and my juniors.
