BR 1-02: “The Inventors’ Club Meets Again”

I read “The Inventors’ Club Meets Again”. This story is about the boy called Ben make the new inventions.

Ben, Chad, Bianca and Jodie joined the Inventors’ Club. Their club held meeting on the third Thursday of every month. They took turns to show their new inventions. To morrow was Ben’s turn to show his new invention, but he didn’t think about invention yet.

He was eating ice cream as he thought. He has eaten ice cream, so it ran out. He thought of the idea then. “I’ll invent an ice-cream maker!” He began make ice-cream maker, but he only had time to get the materials, and didn’t have time to test it.

The next afternoon, Ben, Chad, Bianca and Jodie were in Chad’s bedroom. Ben was preparation ice-cream maker. He got melted chocolate, melted butter and cream into it. He explained that pull this cord, and it can make ice cream. Chad’s mum, dad and neighbor came in Chad’s room. He started make ice cream in front of them. Ice-cream maker suddenly around and around, it covered for Ben’s head and it spattered Chad’s room with ice cream. “Who do you cleaning in the Chad’s room?” Chad’s mum and dud told for them. Ben thought himself in trouble.

Freshman camp of my club

Freshman camp of my club was performed on 24, 25 and 26th. My club member and I went to Aso after school on Friday. We stayed at youth hostel in Aso. We played the game and told to freshmen all the time in the middle of the night in there. We enjoyed first day.

Second day, we were drive in Aso, and stayed another place with the day before. We made hashed beef and rice in supper, and took hot spring. Graduates of my club came in there. We were glad that graduates came. Freshmen and graduates got along very well. We had a nice time.

I enjoyed that I could go to freshman camp, and I was glad that I got along with them. I spent good days.

Foot hot spring

I hung out with my club member after school today. I have class until the third period, but I killed time till then in a library because it was a plan from six o'clock p.m.

My senior's, senior who graduated, freshmen and I went to eat for sushi. It was delicious, so I ate with them. We went to foot hot springs in Tamana, and we drove to thereby my senior's car. I told about school, club and various things with freshmen while driving.

The foot hot spring is hot spring soaking in hot water only with foot. I was comfortable, so warm I soaked in hot water. We enjoyed in there, and we were breakup there and came back.

I was glad that I hung out with my senior’s, senior who graduated and freshmen, and got along with freshmen. I had a good time today. I want to hang out with them again!!

BR 1-01: “Time Travel: Ship Ahoy!”

I read “Time Travel: Ship Ahoy!” This story is about the boy and girl stepped out their time machine.

There were a girl called Georgia and a boy called Charlie. They had a time machine. It was inside a tree trunk at the bottom of their garden. They stepped on the time machine and went for a trip.

They arrived at the port. There was crowd in there. The crowd was looking at a big passenger ship. Georgia and Charlie realized that they were in England, because they heard for the people were talking. The boy spoke to Georgia and Charlie then. He was going to get on ship and go to America. However, Georgia heard the story of the boy, and Georgia, Charlie and the boy stepped on the time machine with a boy together. The boy was unwilling to go, but the ship has already departed when he arrived. “One day, you’ll thank us,” Georgia told the boy. “Never!!” the boy screamed. Georgia and Charlie were back inside the time machine, and Georgia told why did such a thing to Charlie.

It was April 16, 1912 on that day. The world’s biggest passenger ship was shipwrecked, and many people died. The ship was on its way from England to America. The ship was “Titanic”.

Essay 1-01b: New Who Am I

Hello. My name is Kumi M. I’m 19 years old. I live in Kumamoto, Japan, I’m a student of KGU. I study English at university. I joined the club “Youth Hostel” club in the university. We go for a trip and stay at the youth hostel on vacation.

It takes about one hour and a half to go to university by train and bus everyday. The university is in the city, but there are a lot of fields around my house, and it’s very rural. My town is famous for hot springs, and there is footbathing place, too. I go to there at least once a month. There are many other good places also. What kind of place is the place where you live in? And what is your town famous for?

I have six people in my family. I have my grandfather, grandmother, father, mother and older sister. My grandfather is 87 years old. He is full of vigor. We all get along very well. How many people in your family?

I like to watch movies and listen to music. I like movies of various genres such as comedy, love story, action, suspense and drama. I often listen to rock and pops. I especially like Avril Lavigne and Green Day. I have been to their live took place in Japan. I also like to cooking and making desserts. I often make Japanese food, cookies, cheesecake, muffin and other desserts. Another thing I like is to hang out with my friends. We go shopping and go for a drive when I go out. I usually do it when stay at my house or on holidays. What do you like to do? And what do you do it stay at your home holidays?

I’m interested in foreign country since I was a child. I wanted to go to the United States, Canada and the UK, so I’m glad that I’m going to go to the United States. I want it to be summer vacation soon. I’m looking forward to going there and to seeing you.

Try

I thought that became warm, but it was noon wind was strong and was cold today.
I got up early this morning, and I wasn’t late for the first period. The third period was a class of the overseas course. I want to go to America soon. However I think that the overseas course is very hard, because there are a lot of reports. I don’t have confidence to write about 1000 words in English. I have never been to foreign country, so I have a dream of going to foreign country before. Therefore I’m looking forward to going there.
The audit of club was conducted today’s after school. We wrote it in the account book by mistake, so an audit will be conduct again the day after tomorrow I have to try again.
I felt that I look busy for this one year since I became a second-year student. There are many reports. However I want to become good at English in this one year. I try to study English more.

I have to do my best!!

There is a test of speaking today. I was very nervous. This years subjects are more difficult than last year, but we chose subject was Cars/Driving/Transport this time, so I was able to talk than I thought. Next was talk about vacation package. I told that I want to go to London tour, but I didn’t talk well about reasons why I think it is best. I want to speak well more English. Today's classes were only reading and speaking test, so it was finish early.
The audit of club will be conducted tomorrow, so my seniors and I did preparation for tomorrow. The calculation of audit is very difficult.
My friends, freshmen and we went to my friend’s home after school. We had okonomiyaki party so that we get along with freshmen. We made okonomiyaki while talking, and played card game. I had a good time at the party. I was happy that I get along with freshmen.
I have to get up early tomorrow, because I have classes from the first period, and then there is the audit. I have to it. I try my best!!

Drive

I hung out with my friends today. We went to Fukuoka by car. We enjoyed drive to there.
We went to the yume town of Kurume first. We went to see our senior, because she worked there. We were glad that we saw her.
We went to outlet of Tosu afterward. We did shopping, and we ate ice cream there. It was very delicious.
We were going to go to Fukuoka city afterward. However my friend had to come back home before, so we came back to Kumamoto.
It was unlucky that we didn't go to Fukuoka city, but we could drive and shopping. Therefore we had a nice time. I want to go to Fukuoka city with my friends next time.

Club

There were classes from the second period to the fifth period today.
The sectional meeting of the club was in the lunch break. Today's sectional meeting was the first time since freshmen joined the club, so we introduced ourselves. I want to get along with freshmen.
The classes finished early because it was the first class. It was the activity day of the club today. Therefore I played baseball with the member of the club after school. We were very enjoyed. My friends and I ate supper and came home afterwards.
I’m going to go to Fukuoka with my friends tomorrow. We will go shopping. I’m looking forward to go to there with my friends.

I have no class in the first period today, but I have class until the fifth period, so I'm very tired.
I went to the town with my friends after school, because I have a business. We did the shopping in the town. We happened to see the senior of the club that graduated from university in last month then!! We had the senior get along very well when we were freshman, so we were glad that we saw her. I hope that I want to see her again.
